The stunning sound of MartinLogan speakers is created by a large, clear membrane that moves between two electrostatically-charged metal grills. The grill coating has a number of important industrial duties, including guarding against shock, but it also has to meet the aesthetic expectations of high-end audiophiles. Surface Work was able to develop grill, trim and wood finishes and colors that spanned manufacturing and marketing goals.
